


Basanta Utsav – A celebration of Bengali Theatre, 29 March 2025, Birmingham




Aaloron was invited to the Basanta Utsav 2025 – Festival of Theatre organised by the Midland Indian Association, Birmingham on Saturday 29 March 2025. Aaloron performed along with four other theatre production groups from UK.
Aaloron performed “Hoite Sabhdhan” written by Shri Radharaman Ghosh. This was appreciated by audiences especially for delivering a multilayered and complex production interpreted through various compositions. The organising committee presented Aaloron with the Basanta Utsav award, in appreciation of participation.
Harmony Festival, 29 March 2025 Keighley




Aaloron was invited to perform at the Harmony Festival, organised by Tamils Of North East (TONE) and supported by Bradford 2025. The events took place in Victoria Hall, Keighley on Saturday 29 March 2025.
The audience appreciated Aaloran’s presentation of songs and prose reading in multiple languages based on the theme “Thread of Love”. Aaloron also took part in a joint synchronised performance of “Mile Sur Mera Tumhara” with other organisations.
BEAP International Mother Language Day celebrations,Bradford, 16 February 2025




BEAP community partnership, Bradford invited members of Aaloron to perform at the International Mother Language Day celebrations which took place in Prestige Hall in Bradford on Sunday, 16 February 2025, afternoon. They were celebrating the Language Movement Day, which is commemorated in Bangladesh – to celebrate language and culture.
Aaloron delivered a multilingual performance. The audience appreciated Aaloran’s presentation of songs and prose reading in multiple languages (Bengali, Hindi & English). The occasion was also graced by Mr Imran Hussein, MP from Bradford East who presented Aaloron with an award in recognition of Aaloron’s cultural collaboration with BEAP.
Kabyashilan Bashanto Baron Utsav performance, Leeds, 15 February 2025




Kabyashilan, Leeds invited members of Aaloron to perform at the Bashanto Baron Utsav which took place in Moortown Methodist Church Centre, Leeds on Saturday, 15 February 2025, evening. They were celebrating the advent of spring (Bashanto).
Aaloron delivered a captivating performance. The event attracted a diverse audience from across the country, who warmly received Aaloran’s presentation of songs and a srutinatok (audio drama). Audience members praised their performance for its artistic excellence and cultural depth.
BEAP community partnership Victory Day celebrations, Bradford, 21 December 2024




BEAP community partnership, Bradford invited members of Aaloron to perform at the Victory Day (Bijoy Dibos) celebrations which took place in Prestige Hall in Bradford on Saturday, 21 December 2024, evening. They were celebrating the 53rd Victory Day (Bijoy Dibos) of Bangladesh.
Aaloron’s performance included popular songs from Bangladesh, dance and a srutinatok (audio drama). The event attracted a diverse audience from across the country, who appreciated the variety and colourful presentation. The occasion was graced by dignitaries from Bradford, including Naz Shah, MP from Bradford West.
Bradford Hindu Cultural Society performance, 10 October 2024




Bradford Hindu Cultural Society invited members of Aaloron to perform in their cultural event at their Durga Puja venue in Prestige Hall in Bradford on Thursday, 10 October 2024, evening. They were celebrating the Saptami of Durga Puja on that day.
Aaloron presented a Durga Puja theme-based performance which included songs, recitations and dance. The musical story depicted the contrast between the two practices; on one end we worship Ma Durga, the symbol of protection, strength and motherhood but at the other end we ignore girls and women in our society and let them suffer every day. The event was a great success as the audience appreciated the presentation.

Anya Drishya 20th May 2023, an evening of entertainment, music, dance and drama. Performed in Bradford Grammar School. Event supported by grant from Bradford Council.

Our past performances include charities and fundraising. We also perform in various cultural programmes for local communities
2021: I - Live - A Facebook Live Charity Event, have raised £2,387 for Hope Foundation Kolkata.
2019: Chalchitre Bangaliyana and Ekti Obastob Galpo an evening to remember performed at the Cleakheton Town Hall.
2018: Sur O Kristi a combination of musical Hemantika and Drama Biphole Mulya Pherot at Kalasangam, Bradford
2017: Aaloron performed Hey Nutan for Bangladesh Medical Association at Manchester. A Geeti Alekhya supported by solo dance performances followed by one act play Biphole Mulya Pherot

2014: Performed on invitation from Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Manchester.2015: Aaloron celebrated 10th Year, presenting Yatra ahighly acclaimed performance by Aaloron members at Bradford Grammar School.
2013: Celebrated Bengali new year in collaboration with Bradford Councillor Saukat Ahmed. The programme was telecast in Bengali TV
2012: Celebrated Tagore's 150th birth anniversary at Bradford in collaboration with Kala Sangam, Bradford.
2010: Raised and donated £1,200 to Airedale General Hospital Dignity Charity Fund in 2010 through multicultural programme 'Synthesis'.
2009: We were invited and performed for Middlesborough community
2008: We successfully completed our 11 month long project `East Meets West'.
2007: Organised Indian Sari wearing workshop/themed performance in `love in the air', Yorkshire Dales. 6 month long drama project `Natya Taranga' and performed at Bradford Play House.
2006: Raised and donated £1,501 to Airedale Hospital Children’s Unit Charity Fund through 7 month long multicultural project and event.
